Announcement of Sale of Unitex to German Company Sto SE & Co KGaA
1st August 2019 – The Acquisition will provide Unitex with an expanded range of products and access to wider untapped Australian Markets.
The owners of Unitex are pleased to announce that after 36 years in business are proud to pass ownership onto Sto SE & Co KGaA who are a similar, quality focused worldwide manufacturer.
Unitex are known throughout Australia for supplying Building Façade features, specialty coatings and EIFS for use in residential and commercial construction.
The founders, Andrew Concannon and Tony Gubiani, have transferred ownership to Sto SE & Co KGaA of Germany, a major international manufacturer of products and systems for building coatings.
Andrew and Tony and all staff will remain at Unitex, ensuring a smooth transition of business, maintaining the high known standards that the Unitex business brand and committed staff have always offered.
The Directors and the all Unitex staff will assist with the continued expansion of the business with introduction of complimentary products that will become available via the Sto SE & Co KGaA ownership.
Andrew and Tony are proud of the business they have built, with the committed team that is Unitex and thank all Customers, Suppliers and supporters.
