Uni-TWS 'five star' energy performer with strength to boot.

A world-class independent authority recently tested Uni-TWS® and the results are impressive. The most striking is its insulation when compared to brick veneer - a massive three times more energy efficient. When using 75 mm Uni-TWS by Unitex, a 'complete wall' will have an R-Value of approximately 2.16. The total R-Value takes into account the Uni-TWS insulation board, internal plasterboard, air cavity and internal and external air movements.

Energy efficiency was on Ross McKinnon's mind when designing this substantial residence in Melbourne's north east. Morgan Thomas from Techcor Developments, was even more impressed with its lightweight qualities which is backed-up with 45 J strength. The Uni-TWS system helped speed up this project and in turn saved money.
